Daniel M. Pond

An American citizen, Daniel M. Pond proudly served his country while in the United States Army in Vietnam and afterwards in Germany. After being honorably discharged from the military in 1973, Mr. Pond opened his own martial arts school named “Pon Do Kwan”. Five years later he achieved the highly esteemed 10th Degree Black Belt Master Class Certification.

In 1983, Mr. Pond used his strong martial arts background and extensive military training to obtain the German Security License. With this license in-hand and a team of 12 employees Pond Security Service was established. By 1998 Pond Security had solidified its foothold as a leader in the security industry. Mr. Pond's emphasis on outstanding customer service and extraordinary security officer education resulted in Pond Security Service almost tripling in size from 1998 to 2004.

Mr. Pond believes that quality training is the foundation for exceptional service. Therefore, in February 2004, he established the Pond Academy, which provides a full scope of training and educational programs to address broad security concerns. In December 2004, Mr. Pond established Pond Security Service, LLC in the United States.

This endeavor has brought Mr. Pond's quality training program, business approach, management experience, and security expertise to the U.S. Today.
